A home baking business is a nice hobby to indulge in if you love to bake. There is a demand for well made cakes, breads and pastries. Working from home can be more of a challenge in this type of business than if you were to have a shop but there are ways you can very easily start up and grow your business.

As with any business the hardest part about selling baked goods is getting the customers to come to you. You could advertise in local papers, hold stalls at markets and fairs or sell locally. These options can however be expensive when you are starting up, a much more cost effective option and more profitable is to set up a web site where people can read about your baking business 24 hours a day and then hire you to cater for special occasions.

This is a great way to start because you can indulge your passion by creating a site with information about baking and photos of your work. You can also make money from the web site without doing any baking yourself or having to cater for customers.

So what's this all about?

Well basically ordinary people like you and me Can make money by writing online about an interest or a passion.
