As with any business the hardest part about home based business marketing is getting the customers to come to you. You could advertise in local papers, hold stalls at fairs or advertise locally. These options can however be expensive when you are starting up, a much more cost effective option and more profitable is to set up a web site where people can view your items and purchase 24 hours a day.

I know you have probably heard this a million times before but what I am going to tell you could have literally thousands of customers banging on your door!

Just setting up a web site however is not enough, you have to attract visitors to that web site, get listed in search engines and provide excellent information for your visitors. This is actually much easier than it sounds, many people spend years trying to master how to get visitors to a web site but it doesn't have to be that way. A few years ago I set up a very successful web site that went straight to the top of the search engines and gets tens of thousands of visitors every month. I was not an expert, I learnt as I went, but today my web site accounts for 100% of my business advertising of a business that makes me £2000/$4000 every month.
